Ms. Colin is the niece of your client. She is the main caretaker of her uncle, a 78-year-old man confined to a wheelchair due to his recent leg amputation. When at home, Ms. Colin goes to the health club at least twice a week and enjoys an active social life consisting of various outdoor sports and activities. She works during the day as a 3rd-grade teacher. Ms. Colin lives some distance away and, for the time being, has moved in with her uncle and sleeps on the couch. She plans to go home after he is more self-sufficient and other caretakers can be arranged. Your client used to garden and be proud of the fact that he could walk the mile and a half to the local store for his morning paper, where he met his friends and spent time discussing politics. Now, however, he just sits in his wheelchair and looks outside.
